Founder and System Architect of the JOSSO Project, JOSSO (Java Open Single Sign-On) Project.
 Gianluca Brigandi is a seasoned system architect with over eleven years experience in crafting infrastructure software such as frameworks, middleware, application containers and model-driven software generators, to name some of his assignments. He is unremittingly focused on delivering enabling technology to meet the requirements of real world business-critical applications. He has implemented cross-cutting solutions through the establishment of software product lines in domains of Identity Management, E-Commerce, Content and Document Management and E-Learning for governmental organizations and private corporations in Western Europe and South and Central America such as Telecom Group, Telefónica Group, Comsat, Italian Banks Association, Interamerican Development Bank and the Chilean Government.
He founded and runs the JOSSO (Java Open Single Sign-On) project, an open source J2EE-based SSO infrastructure which is positioned as a proven lightweight alternative to Identity Management solutions.
