Christine Martino
VP, Linux and Open Source & Linux Organization, HP.

Christine Martino is the Vice President of the Open Source & Linux Organization (OSLO). In this role, she has responsibility for engineering, marketing, open source community participation and linkage, as well as HP's Open Source and Linux indemnity and IP protection programs.

With Hewlett Packard since 1988, Christine has a broad, proven track record of planning and operational excellence. Prior to her current position, she was Director of Business Planning and Development for OSLO, leading strategy development, cross-organizational linkage, and new business initiatives.

Before joining OSLO, Christine led the Carrier Grade business for BCS, where ninety percent of sales were Linux-based. She took this business from start-up mode to a multi- million dollar, profitable HP business that business continues strong growth today. Christine also ran World Wide Marketing for the HP 3000 and was instrumental in developing plans to migrate and retain this loyal HP customer base. In addition, she has held marketing management and technical marketing management roles in HP's Video Communications Division where she helped to take HP from a virtual unknown to #2 in the Broadcast server marketplace.
